The department of radiation oncology is headed by very competent team of radiation and medical oncologists. There are lots of advancement in radiation techniques with the aim to have maximal tumor control while minimizing the radiation exposure to normal healthy tissues so that the least side effects are produced. Keeping this is mind we have installed the latest technology machine. Varian vital Beam with IMRT, Robotic IGRT, Rapid Arc with 10XFFF Facility and 24 Channel HDR Gamma Med plus Brachytherapy Unit. Using state-of-the-art radiation technology, our Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Radiation Technologists and other Staff Collaborate to design custom treatment plans for each and every patient.

Department of Surgical Oncology

Surgical Oncology is a cancer care field that focuses on using surgery to diagnose, stage and treat cancer. Dr. Prateek Varshney with a vast experience of around 10 years in the field of Oncology has been extensively trained in the surgical management of varrious cancers. After completing his MBBS and MS Surgery, he went for advanced Surgical Oncology training at the prestigious Regional cancer center, Gujarat Cancer Research Institute. Specialities :- Head & Neck Cancer, Oral Cancers, Gynecological Cancers, Breast Cancer with Reconstruction and Oncoplasty Gastrointestinal, Liver, Pancreas and Biliary Cancers, Skin Cancers, Soft tissue and bone sarcomas, Urological Cancers, Open and Laparoscopic Oncological Procedures.

Neuro-Oncology

Incidences of Neuro Oncology is on the rise because of the increased incidences and also increased detection due to availability of better diagnostic facility and awareness. This is an established centre for treating these Neuro Oncological patients..

Gynae-Oncology

Moderated by Dr. Pratibha Gupta, the Department of Gynae Oncology Provides both preventive and curative treatment for cancers of uterus, cervix, ovary, vulva & vagina and gestational tumor. Special emphasis is given to preventive measurers like Pap smear, Colposcopy, breast examination with digital mammography, PET-CT Scan, so that disease can be detected and treated at an early stage. At KMC Hospital, we offer comprehensive diagnostic OPD services including colposcopy, hysteroscopy, Gynaecological ultrasound, Biopsy, Pap Smear examination. To further aid diagnosis the radiology department promotes a comprehensive imaging service including MRI, CT, ultrasound , PET- CT scan. Pathology services provide expert analysis of blood cell of lesion. At KMC cancer Institute , We offer all kind of treatment whether its Surgery, chemotherapy, Immunotherapy or Radiation. Dr. Ansul has been very meticulously trained in the discipline of Gynec Oncology and did her 2 years fellowship course from the prime cancer institute of the country, GCRI Ahmedabad. She also did certified course in essentials of Palliative care for cancer by Indian association of Palliative care. She has worked as resident at Safdarjung Hospital and consultant at medical and oncology center Bangalore. She has been managing all Gynec Oncological patients with latest world class treatment for all categories of economy of the patient. She has been also conducting weekly free camps for the mission- “eradicate cervical cancer”.
